Mobodexter, Inc derives its name from two separate words – Mobile + Experts as the company initially started with specialization in Mobile applications.
2013
Mobodexter was founded & boot-strapped by two Ex-Intel Managers – Mouli Srini & Kavitha Gopalan in 2013 in New York and India. The corporation started generating revenue within 6 months of incorporation by offering Product Engineering Services to Intel & Qualcomm.
2014
The company also launched a few Mobile applications like SxFxN, Date2Date and Bangalore Transportation in 2014 & 2015. These mobile applications are available on both Android and Apple Store.
2015
Mobodexter started on its IoT platform journey in June 2014 by funding the Paasmer platform development from the revenue from its operations. A Smart Home prototype product based on Paasmer platform was done. This product included a custom IoT board based on TI processor with RTOS and connected with AWS for Cloud operations.
2016
Paasmer – IoT Edge Platform was launched in March2016 in IoTAsia, Singapore. Its first client was East Owl Pte. Ltd., Singapore. Jiffy, a low-cost alternative of Alexa was developed for Singapore market. Paasmer forged a partnership with Amazon AWS for integrating Paasmer with AWS IoT Cloud later that year. Mobodexter joined RetailXelerator – an Accelerator program in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the summer of 2016. Mobodexter also received its first round of funding in late 2016 via equity crowdfunding on Wefunder.
2017
The company released subsequent update releases of Paasmer in 2017 & 2018. It also added clients like Hyundai America, Magnetti Marelli, Bank of America, Morning Pointe, Boeing. It received a second round of funding in 2017 through Wefunder again. The company launched its new rebranded logo in 2017 and moved its headquarters to Bellevue, Washington state.
2018
Mobodexter incubated and launched blockchain company called Hurify.
The company also won the “IoT Innovator” award in 2018 from IoTInnovator.com. Mobodexter launched the All-In-One Edge product called “SmartEdge”.
2019
Mobodexter Inc is recognized as IoT Edge Innovation leader. It is currently valued at $100 Million and continues its journey to build innovative products. The company helps its clients to achieve efficiencies through digital transformation. Mobodexter operates out of offices in Bellevue and Redmond in the United States with a Research and Development center in Bangalore, India.
